Role

Senior Management position focused on effective management and day‑to‑day operational performance of the facility. Reporting to the Managing Director, responsibilities include people management for printing, warehousing and dispatch departments, and working alongside the Managing Director to develop the Operations strategy in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and develop a team that plans, implements and delivers against operational targets.
  • Support business objectives to significantly increase growth.
  • Report operations activities against defined KPIs to the business on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage the Operations budget.
  • Have full control of the production plan to ensure an efficient and effective plan for Operations.
  • Be responsible for Safety Culture and policy implementation.
  • Deliver and define KPIs for each department within remit.
  • Handle quality monitoring and MIS system development.
  • Ensure financial targets and other agreed targets are met in all departments within remit.
  • Ensure safety regulations are followed at all times.
  • Keep employees motivated and organise appropriate training.
  • Ensure the business operates within the company’s mission statement.
  • Investigate customer satisfaction levels and report any issues with corrective actions.
  • Work with department heads and senior management to deliver best‑in‑class performance.
  • Partner with HR to manage any employee relations matters.
  • Review and approve equipment needs to avoid downtime due to equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications

Must have experience of leading, managing and developing a team in a high performing, high volume creative environment. Demonstrable exposure to LEAN and KAIZEN, Six Sigma Green Belt is highly desirable.

Must be a highly self‑motivated individual with the ability to focus and drive to meet goals, deadlines, and manage a demanding workload. Must also show excellent attention to detail and the ability to think creatively.
