Practice Support Manager

Overview

Our Legal Support team is in the market for a Practice Support Manager to support the Real Estate legal department and its legal support staff allocated to this team. Based out of our Nottingham office, this is a high-impact management role, where you will take ownership of the day-to-day operational delivery of a first-class legal support service.

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Practice Assistants and Team Assistants, managing performance, wellbeing and workload allocation to ensure consistent service excellence.
• Work closely with fee earners and senior stakeholders, build strong relationships, understand client-specific requirements, and balance priorities across a busy and demanding practice area.
• Review existing processes and systems, drive efficiencies, and champion continuous improvement.
• Lead department projects and promote best practice, keeping pace with regulatory developments and evolving client needs.

• Demonstrable experience in a management position within a legal or professional services environment.
• Strong people leadership skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal support services.
