Launch & Operations Director – Impact Investment Group

At Impact Investment Group, we're building a national housing, care and social impact ecosystem — connecting property investors, landlords, developers, housing associations, local authorities, care and support providers, and the people who need suitable housing with support. Providing Homes. Delivering Support. Transforming Lives.

If you're a builder and implementer who thrives on turning ambitious vision into organised, commercially viable delivery, and you're motivated by better outcomes for the people we ultimately serve as much as by strong performance, we want to hear from you.

We're looking for an experienced Launch & Operations Director to work directly with our Founder & CEO, Israel Silgram, providing the operational leadership needed to turn a bold vision into a focused, revenue-generating launch.

About Impact Investment Group

Impact Investment Group is developing a national housing, care and social impact ecosystem that connects property investors, landlords, developers, housing associations, local authorities, care and support providers, and people who need suitable housing with support.

Our wider proposition brings together professional education, mentoring, live events, strategic networking, property and provider partnerships, and an AI-enabled technology platform designed to improve demand intelligence, property suitability, compliance readiness, matching, and social-impact reporting.

We're guided by a commitment to integrity, collaboration, innovation, compassion, inclusion, and measurable social impact.

The Role

As Launch & Operations Director, you will:

  • Work directly with the Founder & CEO to translate strategic vision into prioritised plans, budgets and accountable actions, maintaining a disciplined Now/Next/Later/Not Pursuing portfolio
  • Own and lead the integrated 30-, 60- and 90-day launch plan, coordinating the Academy, mentoring, membership/network, live events, marketing, partnerships and technology work streams as one customer journey
  • Convert the Founder's knowledge and IP into structured Academy and mentoring programmes, and build the first live event programme end-to‑end (venues, suppliers, speakers, sponsorship, budgets)
  • Act as the operational bridge between the Founder, users, developers and commercial teams, translating priorities into product requirements and coordinating beta testing
  • Build and manage the commercial pipeline from initial enquiry through to collected income, implementing a fit‑for‑purpose CRM and setting launch budgets, pricing and revenue targets
  • Design proportionate operating procedures, governance, and risk/decision/action registers, and support recruitment and performance management as the launch team grows
  • Prepare concise decision papers and weekly dashboards, protecting the Founder's time by consolidating operational matters and escalating only material decisions
  • Run controlled pilots and soft-launch activity, capturing evidence to improve the operating model before national scale‑up

You’ll work closely with the Founder & CEO, existing group leaders and service heads, technology developers, marketing/design/event suppliers, housing associations and local authorities, care and support providers, property investors and strategic partners, professional advisers, and Academy participants, mentors and sponsors.

What Success Looks Like
  • First 30 days: audit existing assets, confirm minimum launch scope, and establish governance, budget, CRM and an integrated delivery plan
  • Days 31–60: complete the customer journey, paid offers, event plan, sales pipeline and platform demonstration readiness
  • Days 61–90: deliver controlled pilot activity, open the first paid offer, collect income, and capture feedback for improvement
  • By six months: establish a repeatable commercial launch model and a credible plan for wider recruitment and national growth
Contract & Location
  • Full‑time; initially a six‑month fixed‑term contract or permanent with a six‑month probation, subject to final agreement
  • Hybrid / UK‑based, with travel for meetings, partnerships and live events
  • Reports to:
