This is an excellent opportunity for a manager who wants to make a real difference, develop the home and lead the service with autonomy.
The Role of Registered Manager You will be responsible for:
Leading and developing the staff team. Ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding. Maintaining Ofsted and regulatory compliance. Delivering personalised care and positive outcomes. Promoting confidence, independence and life skills. Working with families, social workers and other professionals. Ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015. Registered Manager Requirements We are looking for someone with: 18 months’ experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a Children’s Home.
Experience in a Good or Outstanding home. At least 2 years’ senior management/supervisory experience. Experience supporting children with learning disabilities, ADHD and behavioural difficulties and complex care. Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge. Experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Registered Manager Qualifications Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent. Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification, or willingness to work towards it.
Alternatively, NVQ Level 4 Health & Social Care (Children’s Pathway) with a Leadership & Management qualification. Interested?
