Be a beacon of safety and preparedness! As the Service Manager - Emergency Planning and Safety at Sports Grounds, you will lead a passionate team focused on planning for major emergencies and disasters. Your role is vital in ensuring that Nottinghamshire is ready to respond effectively when it matters most.

• Lead and Manage:
  Oversee a dedicated team of emergency planning specialists.
• Build Relationships:
  Foster positive partnerships with local authorities, emergency services, and other key agencies.
• Ensure Resilience:
  Establish and maintain robust business continuity management arrangements.
• Respond to Emergencies:
  Provide tactical support during emergencies, including out-of-hours assistance.
• Safety Oversight:
  Act as the lead officer for the County Council’s statutory function regarding the safety of sports grounds.

• A relevant qualification in emergency planning, management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in emergency planning or crisis management.
• Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop effective strategies.
• Proficiency in report writing and communication.
