MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager for a leading Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) in Nottingham.
This role will involve overseeing the day-to-day operation of the facility, providing visible leadership across the site & leading Shift Team Leaders & operational teams to deliver safe, compliant & high-performing operations.
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:- Providing visible leadership across the site, leading Shift Team Leaders & operational teams.
- Championing a safety-first culture & driving employee engagement.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the facility, monitoring KPIs & identifying improvements.
- Enhancing efficiency, reliability & cost-effectiveness across operations.
- Developing & motivating your team, creating an environment where people can thrive.
- Other duties as required.
- Extensive people management experience within a large operational department or region at a senior level
- Practical experience of implementing and embedding corporate management systems
- Strong knowledge of the power generation, energy recovery or related industries
- A proven track record of leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams
- HND level qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant technical discipline, plus a full UK driving licence
