A busy, well-established joinery workshop in South Normanton is seeking an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to support the production of high-quality bespoke interiors on a full‑time, temporary to permanent basis.

• Manufacture and assemble bespoke joinery items, including internal walls, door frames and window frames, from technical drawings and specifications.
• Work confidently with a wide range of materials including MDF, laminates, veneered boards and hardwoods.
• Use appropriate hand tools and battery‑powered drills safely and effectively during assembly and finishing processes.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of accuracy, finish and craftsmanship.
• Maintain a safe and organised workstation, following workshop health and safety procedures at all times.
• Wear appropriate PPE, including safety boots, glasses and gloves, as required.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support efficient project delivery.

• Proven experience as a bench hand joiner in a workshop or production environment is essential.
• Must have experience working with structures (windows, doors & shop fitting).
• Ability to read and interpret joinery drawings with a clear understanding of construction methods.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and cordless power tools, with a practical understanding of working with timber‑based sheet materials and hardwoods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Team‑oriented with a positive, proactive attitude.
