Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Greater Nottingham for an experienced CNC Miller with expertise in Heidenhain programming. Responsibilities include operating and programming CNC milling machines, producing high-precision components, setting up and maintaining machinery, and ensuring all work meets customer specifications and quality standards. You will collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and ensure efficient operation while addressing any machine issues as needed.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in CNC milling and Heidenhain programming with a strong understanding of milling operations.
  • Experience in machine setup, operation, and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and industry standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, precision, and emphasis on delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in industries such as energy, rail, automotive, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Formal qualifications in precision engineering or a related field are highly desirable.
