Machine Operative​/FLT

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment have been given the exciting opportunity to recruit for a mouldshop operative with an FLT licence for a well known manufacturer in the NG7 area of Nottingham.

As a mouldshop operative youcan expect your day to be varied and challenging so it does require somebody who is dedicated, and willing to learn new skills.

You will be operating machines, operating the Counterbalance FLT when required, learning production processes, providing support to other members of the team and eventually be given the freedom to run your own machine and demonstrate your ability to learn and develop to look for the next step.

• £15.40 per hour starting salary
• Free onsite parking
• Temporary - Permanent position
• Weekly pay whilst with the agency
• Pension Scheme (auto enrolled after 12 weeks)
• Monday - Friday rotating shift
• Morning shifts are 6:00am - 12:30pm & Afternoon shifts are 12:30pm - 19:00pm.

• Work a rotating shift pattern
• Operate Counterbalance FLT when required
• Machine mind and be good at paying attention as this role will involve a lot of quality checks along the production process.
• Comfortable working with small items, candidate must be nimble fingered.
• Happy to work alone or in a small team

• Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
• MUSThave an FLT licence and experience operating a Counterbalance
• People who are committed to learning on the job and want a temporary ongoing/temporary to permanent placement
• To be physically fit as this role will involve a lot of manual handling
• Ideally have experience within a similar production environment and ideally have machine operative experience
