Overview
EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in Nottingham, that is currently in the market for a CNC Miller to join their company on a permanent basis.
This market leader is a well-established entity within the precision engineering industries and boasts a rich history of supporting globally recognised customers with safety-critical, highly complex components.

- Flexible days:
Start 6am to 8am / Finish 2pm to 4pm Monday to Thursday and early finish Fridays - Overtime available at premium rates

- Perform multiple set-ups per day - 3 to 4
- Machining complex small to medium-sized parts using a range of materials such as Inconel and grade alloys for the Aerospace industry
- Be working from engineering drawings in both metric and imperial measurements
- Machining components to tight tolerances
- Must be able to set, operate and edit multi-axis CNC Milling and/or CNC Turning machines using Fanuc controls
- Candidates must be apprentice-trained or must have completed an engineering qualification
- Previously machined complex parts for precision industries, including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil, and gas, etc
- Previous experience working with exotic materials such as Inconel
- Experience with machining to tight tolerances
- Confident working with small to medium-sized components
- Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings both in Metric and Imperial
