About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bench Joiner to join our team, producing high-quality commercial furniture and bespoke joinery. This role involves manufacturing intricate, design-led pieces for hospitality, leisure, retail, and corporate environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated craftsperson who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and enjoys working on varied, high-end projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Manufacture bespoke joinery items including bars, banquette seating, wall panelling, reception desks, and detailed cabinetry.

* Work confidently from technical drawings, CAD plans, and architectural specifications.

* Produce precise, high-quality components using traditional joinery techniques, hand tools, and modern woodworking machinery.

* Work with complex designs, including curved forms, premium materials, and intricate detailing.

* Carry out solid surface fabrication, laminating, and counter set-up.

* Assemble and finish products to a high commercial standard, ready for installation.

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

* Collaborate effectively with project managers and design teams to ensure deadlines and quality standards are achieved.

Skills & Experience

* Time-served Bench Joiner with a minimum of 5 years’ carpentry experience (essential).

* Proven experience within commercial or bespoke furniture environments.

* Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail, with the ability to work to tight tolerances.

* Competent in the use of woodworking machinery, power tools, and CNC-assisted processes.

* Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings.

* Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

* CSCS card (preferred).
