Sign Installer & Production Operative

Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit a full-time, permanent Sign Installer/Production Operative to join our busy production centre in Beeston, Nottingham.

Signs Express (Nottingham), Unit 3, The Mill, 110 Queens Road East, Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 2FD

Salary:
Competitive salary starting from £27,000

Working Hours:

Full-Time, 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-4pm Friday

Travel: A full, clean driving licence and own transport is essential for local travel

This is a varied, hands‑on position combining in‑house production with on‑site installation. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality signage solutions for a wide range of clients.

• Pre‑installation preparation and assembly
• Planning ahead in line with weekly work schedules
• Interpreting job briefs accurately and efficiently
• Manufacturing signage to a high standard using a variety of substrates including ACM, acrylic, metal, wood, Foamex and vinyl
• Weeding and taping cut graphics
• Applying vinyl graphics to signage substrates
• Applying vehicle graphics
• Conducting quality control checks throughout the production process
• Checking off completed jobs prior to dispatch or installation
• Following company procedures to ensure signage is installed safely and securely
• Understanding and adhering to Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Taking responsibility for your own and others’ health and safety
• Providing excellent customer service on-site and in‑house
• Assisting production colleagues as required
• General day‑to‑day workshop and installation duties

While previous sign installation or sign‑making experience would be advantageous, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

• A full UK driving licence
