Bench Joiner

Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing a leading business in their field based in Nottingham that are looking to hire a Bench Joiner on a full time, permanent basis to join their team.

The successful candidate will carry out specialist joinery works, working with technical drawings to manufacture high-end bespoke joinery items.

This is an excellent for a candidate looking for a long term permanent opportunity utilise their skillset in a growing business.

• Manufacture bespoke joinery items.
• Work from technical drawings, CAD plans, and design specifications to produce accurate components.
• Produce high-quality joinery using a combination of traditional woodworking skills, hand tools, and modern machinery.
• Create complex pieces including curved forms and detailed joinery using a range of quality materials.
• Assemble and finish products to a high commercial standard, ready for installation.
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop while following all relevant health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with project teams to meet production schedules and maintain quality standards.

• Demonstrable experience as a Bench Joiner, preferably within commercial joinery.
• High level of craftsmanship with strong attention to detail and the ability to work to precise tolerances.
• Competent in the use of woodworking machinery, power tools, and CNC-assisted processes.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Reliable, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Hours:

Monday – Friday

Salary:
Up to c £35,000 per annum D.O.E
