We are seeking a dedicated Temporary Machine Operative to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting fabrication and assembly processes within a dynamic workshop environment. The successful candidate will assist in operating machinery, handling materials, and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout production.

• Operate various manufacturing machinery
• Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and movement of components
• Support assembly processes by preparing parts and tooling as required
• Conduct basic measurements and calculations using fundamental maths to ensure
  -precision in fabrication tasks
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards
• Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and routine maintenance to minimise downtime
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations

• Experience or familiarity with fabrication processes
• Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools and tooling equipment
• Warehouse experience or materials handling skills are beneficial
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to operate safely around industrial machinery and adhere to safety guidelines
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Previous experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
