Nottingham area, good M1 access
Pay Range: up to £48k plus Package Plus Bonus OTE £50K+++

Key Responsibilities- Provide effective and efficient planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production.
- Ensure continuous production by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault‑finding and maintenance of process and packaging equipment.
- Plan and react to maintenance activities to keep downtime to a minimum.
- Support conveyor systems, materials handling, automated packaging and material processing.
- Lead mechanical repair work and collaborate with CMMS processes.
- Diagnose, resolve, and eliminate root causes of equipment issues.
- Implement minor equipment modifications to improve performance.
- Complete all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive and improvement maintenance as allocated.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls.
- Apprentice training or NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical engineering discipline (maintenance engineering).
- Experience in manufacturing industry (heavy, medium or FMCG environments).
- Knowledge of routine preventive maintenance and PPM schedules.
- Quick and effective fault‑finding and fixing skills.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.
- Proactive approach to fault finding, commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.
