WhatThis is an office-based engineering role with regular interaction with the shop floor, focused on improving how parts are made, increasing consistency, supporting delivery, and ensuring components are checked and released for dispatch to the required standard in a demanding production environment.
You’ll work closely with technical and production leadership, contributing to both day-to-day operations and the ongoing development of the business.
Key Responsibilities Process & Production Engineering- Define and improve manufacturing processes for composite components
- Develop and refine lamination methods and workflows
- Support tooling and production method development
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements
- Create clear, practical work instructions for production teams
- Standardise processes across repeat jobs
- Ensure documentation supports consistency, training, and quality
- Act as a link between engineering and production
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of production issues
- Provide some liaison with customers to support technical and production leadership
- Support inspection processes and associated documentation
- Help ensure parts are checked and released for dispatch to the required standard
- Contribute to reducing rework and improving repeatability
- Contribute to development of systems required for industry accreditations
- Support documentation and process requirements for tendering
- Help build a structured and auditable production environment
- Pragmatic and solutions-focused
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on getting things right
- Confident working across engineering and production teams
- Proactive and willing to get involved where needed
Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm, overtime and weekends available.
