Electrical Maintenance

Electrical Maintenance - £48k + overtime - NG14 - 12-hour day shift (4on 4off)

Working with one of the UKs leading recycling and renewable energy manufacturers, you will be part of a maintenance team mostly purely electrical or mechanical. This opportunity is for an electrical technician and is responsible for the day-to-day electrical maintenance, PPM and emergency breakdown repair of all industrial plant and machinery. You will work in what can be a challenging environment with new and old equipment, ensuring processing is not interrupted as this industry is growing and essential to our planet sustainability.

• Proven electrical experience in a heavy industry, manufacturing or process environment, with a recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship preferably with a City & Guilds or equivalent NVQ qualification.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to plan and work to tight timelines, and knowledge of PLCs as well as older conventional plant machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic components.

• The basic salary for the electrical maintenance technician is £48k.
• Hours:
  
  Ave 42 hrs. per week; 7am to 7pm (4on 4off).
• Holidays: 17 shifts p/a (equivalent to 25 days p/r).
• Pension:
  Company contributions min of 7% up to 10%.
