The products you help deliver will support scientists around the world in improving people's lives. As a Product Assembly Team Leader, you'll lead from the front in a hands‑on production environment where precision, quality and continuous improvement directly influence the performance of highly specialised equipment supplied to customers worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily planning and coordination of assembly activities to achieve targets.
  • Carry out mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, testing, calibration and fault finding to required standards.
  • Ensure build records, calibration documentation and quality paperwork are completed accurately before products are released.
  • Monitor operational performance, identifying improvements that enhance efficiency, workflow and right‑first‑time performance.
  • Support cross‑functional teams to resolve production issues and remove barriers to delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements, ISO 9001 standards and workplace organisation practices.
Qualifications
  • Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience within a technical assembly and testing environment.
  • Experience supervising production or manufacturing teams, including workload planning and supporting staff development.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, work instructions and test procedures.
  • Competence using measuring and test equipment, Microsoft Office and production or ERP/MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems, calibration processes and continuous improvement methodologies.

Working hours:

7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (Based on a 40‑hour core working week, with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break daily).
