Responsibilities- Analyse production performance and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity and process capability.
- Lead root cause investigations into manufacturing, safety and quality issues, implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Manage capital expenditure projects from quotation through to installation, validation and production implementation.
- Support the introduction of new products (NPI), equipment and manufacturing processes into production.
- Identify and deliver automation opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Drive Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives across the value stream.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, process instructions and engineering standards.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to deliver operational objectives.
- Essential: Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline.
- Essential: Previous experience within a precision engineering business.
- Experience with in a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer or Continuous Improvement Engineer position.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience using structured problem‑solving techniques including DMAIC, PFMEA and Process Mapping.
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes within a precision engineering or advanced manufacturing environment.
- Advantageous: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Practitioner certification.
