Basic Salary: £60,000

Overtime (Time + Half) – Paid Travel

Monday – Friday – Day Shift

We have partnered with a leading equipment manufacturing company, specialising in recycling machinery – Balers, Compactors, Shredders, etc. The successful applicant will perform preventative and reactive maintenance, attend breakdowns, and assist with installations across the local area.

• Ensure recycling and processing equipment functions correctly.
• Service, maintain and repair Balers, Compactors, Shredders, Sortation Machinery, and Mobile Plant Machinery.
• Weld / fabricate heavy machinery.
• Maintain all on‑site equipment, including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, PLC‑controlled equipment, sortation equipment, and balers.
• Maintain all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
• Perform fault finding and diagnostics.
• Follow a PPM schedule and record follow‑up work.
• Maintain appropriate housekeeping standards daily.
• Continuously develop to improve operations, driving improvements in quality, cost and safety.
• Assist production with machinery problems and setups, providing training when appropriate.
