We're recruiting for a Tooling Assembly & Inspection Technician to join a specialist engineering team supporting the preparation, inspection and verification of tooling used within a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.
This role would suit someone who takes genuine pride in quality, accuracy and following established procedures. It is not a design or development role; instead, it is focused on ensuring tooling is prepared, assembled, inspected and documented to the highest standard every time.
What You'll Be Doing- Assembling and preparing tooling for production use.
- Conducting detailed inspections and quality checks.
- Using measuring equipment and inspection tools.
- Verifying tooling condition and identifying defects or wear.
- Following technical instructions and documented procedures.
- Maintaining accurate traceability and production records.
- Supporting continuous compliance with quality standards.
- Working closely with production and engineering teams.

- Verniers
- Micrometers
- Gauges
- Dial indicators
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience following documented procedures and quality processes.
- Comfortable completing paperwork and maintaining traceability records.
- Enjoys working to process.
- Takes pride in producing consistently high-quality work.
- Understands the importance of accuracy and traceability.
- Is comfortable performing detailed, repetitive tasks.
- Wants to become a valued specialist within a stable engineering environment.
- £32,000 - £34,000 depending on experience.
- Overtime available.
- Monday-Friday days.
