Shift Pattern: 12 hour shifts - Days We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to lead a maintenance team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for delivering preventative and reactive maintenance, improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and driving continuous improvement across production operations.

Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of maintenance engineers. Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities. Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage CMMS, spare parts, and engineering stores. Monitor engineering KPIs, including uptime, maintenance compliance, and cost control. Work closely with production teams to maximise operational performance. Lead shutdown activities, projects, and contractor management. Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and technical standards.

Support new product introductions and equipment trials. Requirements Previous experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, chilled food production, or another fast-paced manufacturing environment. Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with planned maintenance systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of health & safety and engineering best practices.
