We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hydraulic Press Operative to join a well-established manufacturing environment on a temporary basis, with the potential for the position to become long term.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in press machining
, ideally working with traditional/manual hydraulic press machines
. This is a hands-on role and requires someone who is confident operating older-style manual press machinery and understands the importance of accuracy, quality and safe working practices.

• Operating traditional/manual hydraulic press machines
• Setting and operating presses to produce components to specification
• Loading and positioning materials correctly
  
  Carrying out press machining and forming operations
• Checking components for quality and accuracy
• Following drawings, specifications and production requirements
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

• Previous press machining experience is essential
• Experience operating manual/older-style hydraulic presses
• Confident working with press machinery without relying heavily on automated systems
• Good understanding of press operations, tooling and material handling
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable, practical and hands-on approach
• Comfortable working rotating shifts
