Rainham Steel a leading UK steel stockholder has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Shearline Operator to join the team!

Salary: up to £43k per year (£19.52p/h) depending on experience Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Basic working hours 6am
-3.30pm Mon-Fri, 42.5 hour Per week

Job Role:

- Reporting to the warehouse manager
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
- Cutting steel rebar from stock on an automatic cutting machine to suit schedule requirements
- Asses the work and optimise cutting from stock lengths with minimal scrap
- Assemble bundles for packing
- Physically able to cope with reasonable manual handling
- Flexible to do paid overtime when necessary Experienced Shearline Operator

- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people
- Able to work in a fast-paced pressurised environment
- You must have a good command of the English language
