CNC Operator (Woodworking)

Nottingham 14.00 per hour Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator to join a busy and growing woodworking manufacturer based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machine operator looking for a stable, long-term position within a well-established company.

The Role

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality wooden products to customer specifications. You will work as part of a skilled production team, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating CNC woodworking machines safely and efficiently.
• Loading materials and setting up machines for production runs.
• Monitoring machine performance and making minor adjustments where required.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications.
• Conducting quality checks on finished components.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a woodworking or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
