Our facility in Nottingham is one of the largest in the country, with top of the range equipment and expert staff producing high volumes of medicine for the UK market.
Role Overview In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the manufacturing of non-sterile bespoke products as well as manufacturing stock lines batches. This will be in accordance with set procedures, batch manufacturing records and validated processes. Within the role of a manufacturing technician, you are responsible for the end of end process of manufacturing bespoke works orders in accordance with the instructions and procedures for manufacturing.
Responsibilities include ensuring that all aspects of the documentation are filled out correctly and to the GMP standards. Orders are manufactured in the order which is dictated by the production release role and/or line managers.
Key Responsibilities Manufacturing products in accordance with MF instructions Daily calibration of manufacturing equipment (scales, pH meters) Ensure all documentation filled out to GMP standards Ensure high standard of RFT for each works order Skills & Experience Required Manufacturing experience on a bespoke level Ability to follow MF instructions Knowledge of correct usage of manufacturing equipment/calibration Clear and concise writing ability- to be able to document actions Good communication skills Ability to work in a team or as an individual Flexibility within the role Individual should have a good band width of knowledge for manufacturing in all forms (liquids, ointments).
Excellent ability to following written and verbal instructions, with the understanding that flexibility within the role is required. Clear and concise communication skills required to capture any details of issues occurring during manufacturing, to then be able to liaise with senior manufacturing technicians and/or line managers.
