CDS Labour are currently looking for a Production Line Supervisor who will play a key role in supporting the Production Manager and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Our client is a successful, family-owned business who specialise in growing and packing root vegetables for major retailers throughout the UK.

- Leading, motivating and supporting the production team
- Managing daily line activities to achieve production targets
- Delegating tasks effectively and monitoring performance
- Conducting probation reviews, training and coaching team members
- Ensuring stock is used correctly and efficiently
- Championing Health & Safety standards within the department
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
- Supporting the Production Manager and providing cover when required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to multitask in a busy production environment
- Previous experience within food production/manufacturing
- Experience operating plant machinery
- Good standard of English and Maths
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
