Social Media Executive

SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE £30,500 London - Hybrid Do you enjoy creating engaging content, planning social media activity and bringing fresh ideas to a marketing team? Get Recruited is supporting an established organisation to recruit a Social Media Executive. This would be a fantastic opportunity for a Social Media Executive, Social Media Assistant, Digital Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator or Marketing Apprentice looking to take the next step in their career.

THE ROLE:

Plan and maintain the social media content calendar, with Linked In as a key channel. Write, schedule and publish engaging content, supporting a busy schedule of approximately three posts per day. Use Hootsuite or similar tools to programme activity and monitor performance. Create graphics and digital assets using Canva. Help develop video content, including basic editing, sound adjustments and adding branded frames.

Monitor engagement and suggest ways to improve content. Work closely with colleagues to promote services, events and organisational updates.

ABOUT YOU:

Around one year's practical experience in social media, content or digital marketing. Currently working as a Social Media Executive, Social Media Assistant, Digital Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator or Marketing Apprentice Experience gained through employment, an internship, a placement or work alongside your studies. Confident writing for professional audiences, particularly on Linked In. Comfortable using Canva and social media scheduling tools.

Basic video editing skills and enthusiasm for developing these further. Organised, proactive and able to manage a busy content calendar.
