The Borgen Project is an international organization that works at the political level to improve living conditions for people affected by war, famine and poverty. The national campaign aims to make poverty a focus of U.S., Canadian and U.K. foreign policy. The organisation has 20 years of advocacy experience and has supported the passage of numerous bills benefit ting close to 500 million people in developing countries.
Responsibilities- Article writing.
- Researching topics.
- Assisting with The Borgen Project's advocacy efforts.
- Assisting with fundraising. Create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.
- No prior experience is necessary; we’re looking for people who are passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of GPAs or background.
This is an unpaid programme, although college credit is available.
Start Date:
New programmes begin every month; you choose the month you wish to start.
This is a part-time programme: 12 hours per week for 12 weeks, remote. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the programme in fewer weeks.
