Job Overview

Are you passionate about empowering young people and bringing energy, creativity, and fun to youth work? They are looking for an enthusiastic Participation Worker to support and champion Youth Voice across Knowsley.

You will deliver engaging sessions with the Knowsley Youth Cabinet, helping young people aged 11–19 (up to 25 with SEND) develop confidence, leadership skills, and the ability to influence decisions that affect their lives. The role includes supporting young people to attend meetings locally, regionally and nationally, ensuring their voices shape local policy and services.

You will help co-design and deliver a participation programme based on the Lundy Model of Participation, develop Youth Ambassador programmes, and support social action projects. Opportunities include residentials, regional youth voice events, trips to London and other parts of the UK. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
