Location:

Various locations throughout Scotland.

• Represent the Stroke Association at local events, such as giving presentations, hosting stands, or attending fundraising events.
• Share personal experience of stroke to inspire and help others.
• Engage with community members to raise awareness of stroke and improve patient experience.

• Access to Learn, the Stroke Association LMS for e-learning and instructor‑led courses.
• Mandatory training: GDPR, basic health and safety, lone working and safeguarding.
• Additional optional training on stroke‑related topics.
• Full induction and ongoing training provided.

• Passionate about helping people learn more about stroke.
• Comfortable using technology such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Enjoy interacting with people and able to get out and about.
• Preferred: personal experience with stroke or caregiving experience.

Must be able to travel independently; travel expenses will be reimbursed.

• Minimum age: 18 years.

• Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun.
• Morning, Afternoon, Evening.

Days and times to be agreed.

Volunteers aged 18–25 can claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
