Responsibilities
- Assess the care needs of patients and develop a programme of care, evaluating and amending it as appropriate.
- Carry out direct and indirect patient care without direct supervision.
- May take charge of the clinical area in the absence of the person who has continuing responsibility or their deputy.
- Professionally registered six‑month foundation course to enhance CPD.
- Dedicated neonatal practice development team to support learning.
