Spire Nottingham Hospital is looking for a passionate and experienced Cancer Nurse Specialist to join our growing Cancer Services team on a Bank basis. Your Role:
As a Cancer Nurse Specialist, you will:
Act as a key worker, supporting patients through complex cancer pathways
Deliver safe, high-quality chemotherapy (SACT) and holistic patient care
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery
Assess, plan, and evaluate care across a dynamic and varied caseload
Communicate sensitive information with professionalism and empathy
Support and drive service development and quality improvement initiatives
Promote best practice in infection control, safety, and patient wellbeing
What We're Looking For:
You'll be a confident and compassionate nurse who thrives in a specialist setting:
Registered Nurse with relevant oncology experience
Qualified in SACT administration (accredited)
Competent in venepuncture, cannulation, and CVAD management
Experience managing complex cancer patient caseloads
Comfortable working independently within a nurse-led environment
Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
Committed to continuous professional development
