Main duties of the job Provide senior nursing leadership and support the Ward Manager in the day-to-day running of the ward
Lead and supervise nursing staff, supporting their development, clinical supervision and performance
Act as a shift leader, ensuring safe staffing, effective risk management and high standards of patient care.
Support the MDT, oversee therapeutic care and deputise for the Ward Manager when required.

Based in the village of Calverton, in Nottingham and set in extensive grounds, Priory Hospital Arnold is an inpatient acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU), for males and females struggling with a wide range of mental health conditions.

Qualification
Essential Active NMC registration.
At least 18 months2 years post-registration experience.
Experience with in a relevant clinical speciality.
Experience providing clinical supervision.
Desirable Previous leadership or senior nursing experience.
Trained Assessor/Supervisor.
Experience supporting staff development, appraisals and CPD.Experience working within a mental health or learning disability setting.
