An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring Band 6 to join our experienced, highly skilled Vascular Clinical Nurse Practitioner team, on a full time, secondment basis.

• Must have NMC Registration
• Educated to Degree level in Nursing or Healthcare or working/committed to completing degree
• Committed to completing/working towards completing Non-Medical Prescribers course
• Committed to undertaking additional learning in vascular surgery
• MSC in Nursing or similar health specialism or working/committed to completing
• Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber
• Qualified Assessor and Supervisor for student nurses
• At least 2 years' experience in vascular surgery
• 5 years vascular experience

• Basic computer skills
• Experience of communication within a Multi-Disciplinary Team
• Experience of communicating bad news and sensitive information
• Advanced Communication Course

• Demonstrate an ability to prioritise own workload, recognise and respond appropriately to urgent situations
• Demonstrate an ability to delegate appropriate tasks to other colleagues
• Demonstrate knowledge of current issues relating to the NHS policies
• Experience of clinical decision making and nurse led processes
• Able to contribute to the development of implementation and monitoring of local objectives and action plans
• Experience of data collection and analysis
