Veterinary surgeon refurbished practice

Overview

My client are looking for an experienced and confident Veterinary Surgeon to join a newly refurbished, modern, and fully equipped practice in the heart of Nottinghamshire. This is a full-time position working 40 hours across four days, with part-time and flexible working options available. The role includes a 1 in 6 weekend rota at their 24-hour hospital close by.

• Provide high-quality care across a varied caseload and contribute to excellent patient outcomes.
• Work in sole charge where required and support a collaborative team environment.
• Engage in clinical governance, client communication, and continuing professional development.
• Participate in the weekend rota (1 in
  6) at the nearby 24-hour hospital.
• Contribute to a culture that supports clinical excellence, personal growth, and wellbeing.

• Experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for veterinary care.
• A surgical bias would be an advantage.
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload and working in sole charge when needed.

• Holiday allowance starting at five weeks plus bank holidays, increasing to six weeks with length of service.

• All professional fees (including VDS, RCVS, and BVA membership) fully covered.
• Sabbatical options based on length of service and support with Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa and relocation if required.
