QAD is an independent department responsible for performing an annual programme of testing to provide assurance that key controls are designed and operating effectively, ensuring compliance with external regulations and standards, and internal procedures. The department drives continuous improvement in managing risk and internal controls and promotes quality and excellence in service delivery.

• Complete audit assurance reviews focused on financial services clients.
• Support other QA reviewers, including managers and RIs, with the completion of audit assurance reviews.
• Carry out additional QA reviews and activities as required to provide assurance to the audit business and wider firm.
• Identify and deliver feedback to relevant parties, providing examples of good practice to support continuous improvement in audit quality.
• Identify and implement changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Experienced manager with a strong background in financial services engagements.
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards. Audit regulatory experience is preferential but not essential.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues concisely and understandably.
• Ability to share new ideas and challenge current working methods in an appropriate manner.
