Reaffirming the values that Paul set down in 1970, ‘classic with a twist’ remains the guiding principle of the company. We are looking for a Made to Measure Coordinator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to grow alongside a brand that combines both heritage and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tailoring, garment construction and the fitting process, with a passion for precision and craftmanship. You will process Made to Measure orders whilst working alongside Retail teams, Production, Manufacturers and the Co-Heads of Product Development.

Please note, the role is based from our Nottingham office.

What you’ll be doing
  • Process each individual Made to Measure (MTM) order and deliver these in a timely manner to a chosen manufacturer, complete with a variation and purchase order.
  • Ensure each final garment meets the necessary quality standards, personal measures and encompasses the integrity of a Paul Smith product.
  • To drive a timely execution at each stage of order processing, working closely with manufacturers to deliver high‑quality outcomes on schedule.
  • Inspect finished garments to ensure accuracy, fit and flawless execution.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of garment construction, finishing techniques, and factory capabilities.
  • Maintain and update MTM trackers, calendars, and supporting documentation.
  • Manage block development and maintain the block library.
  • Liaise closely with manufacturers, ensuring clear communication on specifications, tolerances, and production requirements.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to both manufacturers and retail teams.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, coordinating any necessary alterations prior to despatch, informing relevant members of the team.
  • Support ongoing communication with manufacturers throughout production, including quality control and audits where required and reporting back to both the Head of Product Development and Head of Production.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and elevation of product quality.
Who you are
  • Proven experience within the luxury tailoring sector, with extensive menswear tailoring knowledge and experience conducting fittings.
  • Strong technical understanding of garment construction, combined with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and strong organisational abilities, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and calm under pressure, with cultural sensitivity and flexibility to support additional duties during busy periods.
