Pharma QC Supervisor

Pharma QC Supervisor JobA manufacturer of specialist pharmaceuticals are currently seeking a QC Supervisor to join the team at their site in Guildford. The role will involve the QC Testing of pharmaceutical products. This is an ideal opportunity if you are an experienced QC Scientist looking for a step up, or an an experienced QC Supervisor.

• Permanent Full time, 40 hours Rotating Shifts including Nights and Weekends
  .
• (5x 8 hour shifts per week mon-fri) Rotating weeks, week 1 start at 3AM, week 2 start at 4AM, week 3 start e overtime on Saturdays.
• £44,000pa salary.
• Routine Analysis of pharmaceutical products in line with cGMP and company standards.
• Utilise a range of analytical techniques and equipment including HPLC, GC, RTLC, LAL and Gamma Spectrometer , to name a few. As well as environmental monitoring.
• Take part in maintenance and calibration of analytical equipment.
• Take part in deviations, change controls and other quality processes , working closely with QPs.
• Supervise the QC department.

• Prior experience with HPLC and GC in an industrial setting is essential. Ideally within pharmaceutical/aseptic manufacturing.
• Prior experience with environmental monitoring highly beneficial.
• Educated to Degree level or equivalent in relevant Analytical Chemistry related discipline is essential.
• Must be able to work shifts that include nights , and will include occasional Saturday work (overtime).
