Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time A leading precision engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join its senior leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with a strong manufacturing background to take ownership of the Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement across a highly regulated engineering environment.

Working closely with Production, Engineering, Inspection, and Senior Management teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, improving quality performance, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. We do need someone with demonstrable experience working within quality processes for precision engineered components. The Opportunity As Quality Manager, you will lead all aspects of quality assurance and quality control across the business, ensuring products consistently meet customer specifications and industry standards.

You will champion a culture of quality, oversee audits, manage customer and supplier quality activities, and drive measurable improvements across operations.

Key Responsibilities Maintain and continuously improve the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Ensure quality procedures, processes, and documentation remain compliant and up to date. Lead internal and external audits, ensuring successful outcomes. Manage corrective and preventive actions arising from audits and non-conformances. Oversee inspection and quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process. Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Lead investigations into quality issues using structured root cause analysis techniques. Drive reductions in scrap, rework, customer complaints, and the overall cost of poor quality. Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns and audits. Manage customer complaint investigations and ensure timely resolution. Support supplier quality activities, including supplier audits and performance reviews. About You Proven experience as a Quality Manager within a precision engineering, machining, or manufacturing environment.

Could possibly suit a skilled Engineer also looking to develop into Management. Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Experience leading internal and external audits. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications. Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies. Experience managing customer complaints and non-conformance processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems. Desirable HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Management. Lead Auditor qualification.

Experience with in aerospace, defence, oil & gas, or other highly regulated industries. Knowledge of FAIRs, PPAPs, APQP, 8D, and Lean Manufacturing techniques. Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement qualification. For more information, please contact Matt Langham at Euro Projects Recruitment
