Salary: Up to £33,000 + 10% afternoon shift premium + 5% annual bonus
Location: Ruddington, Nottingham
Hours: Monday to Friday morning and afternoon shifts
Overtime: Saturday time and a half | Sunday / Bank Holidays double time
Wagstaff Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Quality Inspector for a well-established precision manufacturing business in Ruddington.
This is a hands-on inspection role within a clean manufacturing environment, inspecting machined components and working closely with the wider Quality and Manufacturing teams.
What you'll be doing- First-off, in-process, final and visual inspection
- Inspecting machined components against engineering drawings
- Using micrometers, calipers, height gauges and other precision measuring equipment
- Identifying and raising non-conformances
- Supporting problem solving, corrective actions and internal audits
- Maintaining accurate quality and inspection records
You will need previous inspection experience within a machining, precision engineering or manufacturing environment
, together with:
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Practical experience using micrometers and calipers
- Dimensional and visual inspection experience
- Good attention to detail
Experience with
CMM, OGP, gauge pins or GD&T would be advantageous but is not essential.
