Salary: £13.00-£16.00 per hour, depending on experience
Contract: Perm
Hours: Full-Time, 10:00am-6:00pm shift pattern

About the RoleHawk 3 Talent Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing team in Nottingham.
This is a hands-on shop-floor role within a production environment, inspecting fabricated and manufactured components to ensure they meet engineering drawings, customer specifications, tolerances and required quality standards.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing and checking completed jobs ready for despatch, ensuring all components, quantities, paperwork and quality documentation are correct before goods leave site.
This is a practical production-based position and not a purely office-based quality role
.
- Inspect manufactured and fabricated components
- Check parts against engineering drawings, tolerances and customer specifications
- Use verniers, micrometers, height gauges and other inspection equipment
- Complete first-off, in-process and final inspections
- Identify and report non-conforming products
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues
- Complete inspection and quality documentation
- Ensure measuring equipment is used correctly
- Carry out final inspection of completed components before despatch
- Check jobs are complete and ready to leave site
- Verify correct quantities, paperwork and quality documentation
- Work with production and despatch teams to resolve issues before goods are released
- Support continuous improvement and maintain high quality standards
- Follow all Health & Safety and quality procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Engineering Inspector or similar manufacturing role
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience using inspection and measuring equipment
- Good understanding of tolerances and dimensional inspection
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Confidence to identify and raise quality concerns
Experience with in laser cutting, sheet metal, fabrication, welding or precision engineering would be advantageous.
