Managing household moves and cancellations to maximise the use of available accommodation. Creating placements, setting up rent accounts, opening/closing bookings, and creating properties on NEC. Working closely with Housing Benefits to maximise benefit take-up for residents in emergency accommodation. Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and accommodation providers. Processing landlord invoices accurately and in line with council procedures. Ensuring tenancy and licence documentation is completed correctly and in accordance with housing legislation.
Essential Requirements Extensive experience using: NEC Housing (placements, rent accounts, bookings, and property creation) CRM Locata Strong knowledge of:
Section 188 Licence Agreements Section 193 Licence Agreements Non-Secure Tenancies Homelessness and housing legislation Excellent IT and Microsoft Office skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience supporting vulnerable residents with empathy and professionalism. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities. Additional Information Hybrid working available. Immediate start. Ongoing temporary booking. A clear Basic DBS is required.
This role would suit an experienced homelessness or temporary accommodation professional with a strong background in emergency housing placements and housing systems.
