Trainee Archaeologist

Applicants will only be considered if they:

• Hold a degree in Archaeology or a closely related subject
• Are based in Nottinghamshire or the wider Midlands region, or are willing to relocate before employment begins
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have access to their own vehicle for daily travel to sites
• Are able to work on UK commercial field projects with early starts and travel requirements

Past to Present Archaeology is seeking trainee archaeologists to join our commercial fieldwork team based in Nottinghamshire.

This role is intended for graduates seeking practical experience in professional archaeology and requires regular travel to excavation sites across the Midlands and surrounding regions.

Applicants should be prepared for physically demanding outdoor work, early starts, and long-term development within commercial archaeology.

Nottingham / Midlands Region (Applicants based significant distances from Nottingham are unlikely to be considered unless relocating)
Duration
:
Full-time trainee role. Continued employment subject to performance, reliability, and operational requirements.
