Introduction

Our apprenticeship gives people of all ages a chance to start an exciting career, while earning a full‑time wage. Duties include booking customers in for eye tests, pre‑screening, recommending suitable frames. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about providing great customer service and would like to pursue a career in optics.

You’ll find us in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Australia and New Zealand, employing over 38,000 people who work across our 2,293 stores, as well as in our support offices and throughout the supply chain.

• Provide customers with top‑notch advice and a warm welcome to the store.
• Book eye tests.
• Pre‑screen patients and measure frames.
• Ensure smooth operation by looking out for any issues that crop up.

Once you have completed the apprenticeship, you will be a fully qualified Level3 Optical Assistant with a massive range of career options ahead of you.
