Customer Advisor – Argos (in Sainsbury’s

What you’ll be doing:

• Minimum 6 hours per week, with overtime up to 35 hours. Must be able to work any day and any time between 8am and 8pm.
• Deliver excellent customer service on the tills, website screens on the shopfloor and at the collection counter, ensuring a great shopping experience.
• Collect products from the stock area, take payments, provide details on financial service offerings and process refunds.
• Keep the stock room neat and tidy, restocking products from deliveries.
• Assist customers on the shop floor, answering questions and providing advice on a wide range of products.
• Build extensive knowledge of products, services and promotions to recommend items to customers.

• Friendly and welcoming with genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
• Comfortable discussing financial services when buying certain products.
• Enjoy working in a fast‑paced, physical, high‑energy environment and thrive as part of a team.
• Prepared to work flexibly and productively, fully trained in a variety of skills to learn, develop and try new things.
• Embraces new digital tools and technology.
• Pay great attention to detail, keeping the store clean and clutter‑free for customers.
