Position reports to:
Marketing & Sales Manager
.
- Develop and execute segment strategies to identify high‑potential market areas and align local plans with global product marketing.
- Identify opportunities for key account growth and develop existing transactional partners to support segment growth.
- Own sales performance within the segment, achieving targets for orders, revenue, and product mix.
- Create and communicate tailored value propositions in partnership with Product Management.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Build and manage strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and internal teams while developing strategic accounts.
- Drive sales execution and capability, supporting the marketplace with materials, guidance, and training.
- Provide technical leadership to customers and collaborate with Quality and Service teams to resolve issues and ensure a high‑quality customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with ABB policies, procedures, and HSE standards.
- Work model: onsite.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in the industry or relevant market segments.
- Applicable engineering or electrical qualification relative to the target segments.
- Experience dealing with electrical and mechanical consultants, M&E contractors.
- Ability to deliver technical and product presentations to potential clients.
- Knowledge of marketplace and customers, electrical standards, product applications, and competitors’ offerings.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong IT proficiency (CRM systems, Microsoft Office).
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
