Position reports to:
Marketing & Sales Manager
.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute segment strategies to identify high‑potential market areas and align local plans with global product marketing.
  • Identify opportunities for key account growth and develop existing transactional partners to support segment growth.
  • Own sales performance within the segment, achieving targets for orders, revenue, and product mix.
  • Create and communicate tailored value propositions in partnership with Product Management.
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and internal teams while developing strategic accounts.
  • Drive sales execution and capability, supporting the marketplace with materials, guidance, and training.
  • Provide technical leadership to customers and collaborate with Quality and Service teams to resolve issues and ensure a high‑quality customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with ABB policies, procedures, and HSE standards.
  • Work model: onsite.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in the industry or relevant market segments.
  • Applicable engineering or electrical qualification relative to the target segments.
  • Experience dealing with electrical and mechanical consultants, M&E contractors.
  • Ability to deliver technical and product presentations to potential clients.
  • Knowledge of marketplace and customers, electrical standards, product applications, and competitors’ offerings.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong IT proficiency (CRM systems, Microsoft Office).
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
