At Commify we recognise that our people are our biggest asset; and we are now looking for an experienced BDM to join our Sales team.

The Role:

The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and business development, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of our target markets. The ideal candidate will be passionate about expanding our reach and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Selling:
    Delivering comprehensive solutions for customers, incorporating various channels and software to support services like Whats App for Business and RCS.
  • Market Research & Opportunity Identification:
    Perform in-depth market analysis to uncover new business opportunities, track emerging trends, and identify potential clients within key industries.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    Craft and execute effective strategies for generating leads through cold outreach, networking, and utilizing existing connections.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Cultivate and maintain robust, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients, fully understanding their needs and effectively positioning our solutions.
  • Sales Cycle Management:
    Oversee the entire sales journey, from the first interaction to contract negotiations and closing deals, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
  • Proposal Development:
    Design engaging and customized proposals, presentations, and sales materials that vividly express the unique value of our products and services.
  • Revenue Growth:
    Achieve and surpass sales targets and revenue goals consistently, making a significant impact on the company's financial success.
  • Collaboration:

    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to guarantee client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    Keep precise records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions using CRM tools, while providing regular updates to management.
  • Industry Representation:
    Act as the company’s ambassador at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and grow our network.
The Person :
  • Proven experience in new business development, preferably within the CPaaS, SaaS, Whats App for Business, Chatbots, Mobile Journeys or Solutions Software sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, customer service practices, and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
