Job Description & How to Apply Below
At Salt, we are pleased to be partnered with a high-growth scaling consumer brand.
This is an amazing opportunity to grow a brand across the UK through sales and partnerships with retail brands within their space. This will be a varied mix of clients across large scale national accounts as well as independent retailers.
We are keen to hear from people with Account Manager and/or Sales experience especially those who have needed to lead on accounts.
Must have a driving license and must be open to travelling for work.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new commercial opportunities through a mix of desk-based prospecting, outbound outreach, networking, and in-person visits.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both newly onboarded and existing wholesale partners.
- Plan and deliver sales activity aligned to agreed revenue targets, using a structured and measurable approach.
- Take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, driving growth through account development, repeat business, and upsell opportunities.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the product range in order to present clear, compelling value propositions to prospective and existing partners.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding quickly to issues that may impact sales performance or relationships.
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and meetings, supporting wider commercial objectives.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Consistently achieve monthly sales targets, demonstrating progress through defined KPIs.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance updates to senior stakeholders.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a sales, business development, or account management role; experience within a relevant consumer or lifestyle sector is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to generate leads, convert opportunities, and manage accounts within a target-driven environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Confident working both independently and collaboratively within a commercial team.
- Organised and methodical approach to pipeline management, prioritisation, and follow-up.
- Commercially minded with the ability to think strategically and creatively when developing sales approaches.
- Comfortable analysing performance data and translating insights into practical actions.
- Adaptable, proactive, and aligned to a fast-paced, growth-oriented culture, with the potential to take on broader responsibility over time.
- Full UK driving licence, with the flexibility to travel regularly to client locations; occasional international travel may be required.
- Working knowledge of ecommerce or order management systems is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel for meetings, events, and conferences, including overnight stays where necessary.
