Must be based in the North to effectively manage and grow the Northern territory.

Main Responsibilities
  • Drive incremental sales through face-to-face customer interaction.
  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients & new partnerships.
  • Be the voice & presence of Scruffs Workwear Ltd in regional areas across the UK.
Role Responsibilities
  • Visit customers to install Point of Sale / Fixtures and merchandise stock to ensure it has the best possibility to appeal to end users.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients through regular visits to existing National Accounts, such as Builders Merchants & Electrical Wholesalers to identify areas of improvement, stock gaps and general merchandising.
  • Review Point of Sale, adjust and make improvements that could assist in sales, encourage the branches to order additional stock where necessary.
  • When not on the road ensure regular contact is made with existing customers to ensure they are maintaining their stock levels, enquire whether additional stock is needed.
  • Report and feedback findings to Head of Sales, and the sales team, suggesting any improvements that can be made from store visits.
  • Set up and assist the running of National trade shows and run trade days and mornings with customers.
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
  • When on the road, identify new customers that Scruffs could target, especially as we branch out to new segments of the market such as but not limited to the Agricultural and Painter and Decorator markets.
  • Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning. Full training will be provided on all of Scruffs Workwear LTD products, features and benefits, to allow this to filter this down to customers.
  • Asist sales team with general customer queries and find solutions where necessary
  • Support the wider business where required and fulfil ad-hoc projects.
